PURPOSE: The event raises much needed funds to help the four St. Vincent conferences in the county to provide food, clothing, home furnishings, household goods, and financial assistance to needy families and individuals. These conferences, in the last year, with the aid of their approximately 550 volunteer workers have helped almost 100,000 individuals. Their support equaled almost $1.2 million. Our conferences also have volunteers who visit those in prisons, hospitals, nursing homes, and a veteran’s facility.
